Universal CityWalk Showcases Local Comedy, Music in April

If you’re staying in hotels near Universal Studios, look no further than Universal Citywalk for nightlife and entertainment! At Universal CityWalk you are certain to have a great night with live movies, comedy clubs, indoor skydiving, shopping, dining and much more in one place. There are more than 30 places to eat, six nightclubs, 30+ shops and 19 screens; plenty of activities to fill any one night.  Concerts are also held regularly at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Hot night spots at Universal Studios Citywalk include the Hard Rock Café, piano dueling bar Howl at the Moon, Jillian’s High Life Lanes and the Jon Levitz Comedy Club.

 This April, the Music Spotlight Series at 5 Towers is featuring free live music on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s a great way to enjoy the weekend in a happening place and hear some of the latest tunes! On Friday nights, there will be a DJ Dance Party at 7pm followed by an emerging artist. On Saturday, the dance party will be followed by Marquee acts. Below is the schedule for April:

On April 19, The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club will host the Burbank International Festival. Select comedy shorts were screened at the club during March and April, and the top two from each month will screen at the film festival. There will be a Happy Hour mixer before the festival at 7pm, where you can mingle with filmmakers. Tickets to the show are $10 and there is a two item minimum per person. You can buy tickets here.
