NoHo Dine-Out Starts Again April 5

With the coming of April and spring, the NoHo Dine-Out Friday Nights is returning to North Hollywood! We’re kicking off the 2013 season on NoHo Dine-OutFriday, April 5 at 11458 Burbank Boulevard, west of Lankershim next to the Twins Palms Apartment in the parking lot. Dine-Out is your stop on Friday night for music, food trucks and fun!

Come try your hand at hula-hooping with AJ on April 5! The following food trucks will be parked in the lot: Curbside Cravings, Wicked Kitchen, Heart & Soul BBQ, Lobos, Rounds Burgers, Red Beans & Rice, Kettle Corn. Live, original music entertainment will be provided by Josh Spoons, hip hop artist and singer/songwriter Michael Wainwright.

Past food trucks that have participated include B&R’s Old Fashioned Burgers, Nom Nom, My Delight Cupcakes and more. In the past, the Dine-Out has showcased local talent such as flag dancing and the popular teen duo 2-U-Neek.

In the past, there has also been a dog adoption fair at NoHo Dine Out from the Los Angeles Animal Shelter, Burbank Animal Shelter and more animal rescue programs all around Los Angeles. These programs do not have the staff to take the time to raise funds. When event organizers were asked about why they started the event, they said, “We are dog owners and when we realized how many dogs are put down for no other reason than a lack of space; we wanted to do something to help the rescues save them from being euthanized. With our events, we can help by having adoptions and by donating some of the proceeds.”

Those staying in hotels around Hollywood can bring their dogs out to The NoHo Dine Out Fridays for a free community event with dog adoptions, food truck, local craft vendors and live entertainment. Parking is free; just drive into the lot at 11458 Burbank Boulevard, west of Lankershim. Hope to see you there Friday!
