Celebrate the Holidays at Universal Studios!

The holidays are a great time to be in the city of Angels! Some of the best places to stay are hotels close to Universal Studios, as the park Grinchmascompletely changes for the season. Both Universal Studios and City Walk will have holiday festivities to help your family get into the spirit of the season.

Grinchmas will be taking over the streets of Universal Studios Hollywood Devember 8 and 9 and daily December 15 through 31. You can take photos with the Grinch and Max for a special holiday treat! On December 14 and 15, Max to the Rescue: Have a Heart Adoption Fair will return to Universal Studios with shelter dogs up for adoption. The dogs will be available from 10am to 3pm. In Universal City Walk, check out the big and bright Christmas tree to guide Santa to Los Angeles! Millions of choreographed, pulsing LED lights adorn its many branches. On select days, the tree will come to life during the Holiday Elf Show. The show is lively and interactive, featuring lights, music and multimedia. The lighting will happen on Thursday through Sunday from November 29 to December 23. There are four shows nightly at 7, 8 and 9pm. You can enjoy musical performances on some weeknights, Saturday nights and Sunday nights. For a complete list of performers, click here.

Rock n’ Roll Santa will make an appearance at Santa’s Village at Fountain Court. Bring the kids and pose for photos with the jolliest rock star himself. A magical snowfall will occur every half hour. Santa will be available Fridays from November 23 to December 21 from 4pm to 9pm, and weekdays December 10 through 20 at the same time. You can shop the stores of City Walk for the perfect gift for your whole family!
