In May 2012, Universal Studios is opening the highly anticipated Transformers 3D Ride. The thrilling ride blurs the line between fiction and reality by fusing HD 3D video with flight simulation technology. The ride is set in the streets, and the experience has been compared to spinning through a Google Street View image of Chicago. LA Times writer Geoff Boucher also hints at a big surprise in the upcoming ride.
