Be Moved to The Water's Edge!
The Road Theatre Company is a central part of the North Hollywood arts community. The venue is now playing Theresa Rebeck’s “The Water’s Edge.” The play is a touching family drama about loss, grief and revenge with a shocking twist. If you’re staying in a hotel near Gibson Amphitheatre, be sure to check it out!
After a long absence, Richard comes back to the lakeside house of his ex-wife Helen and their two children with a much younger girlfriend. He finds that Helen still blames him for the past. What follows combines classical Greek tragedy and modern comic drama with secrets, loss and revenge.

The Road Theatre Company has been producing plays for 21 years. In July 1991, a group of theatre artists and administrators formed The Other Side of the Hill Productions, otherwise known as The Road Theatre Company. The company has gone on to receive hundreds of awards for its dedication to producing new work for the stage. Publications such as LA Weekly and the NoHo News describe the company as “one of the finest venues for the newest and best American dramas.”
