6th Annual LA WineFest 2011 – June 11-12

The best wine event in California is back!  The Los Angeles WineFest received incredible reviews last year and it now returns with an even bigger lineup of festivities.  Southern California is the biggest wine market in the nation and WineFest remains the largest consumer wine festival in Los Angeles.  The 2-day event will showcase over 150 world-class wines, spirits, and beers, while providing Californians a fun and safe atmosphere in which to discuss their passions for wine.

The event will include the new Robert Mondavi Discover Wine Tour, where participants will learn about, experience, and enjoy numerous wines.  There will be a large number of wineries and vendors present.  The event will also feature additional food purveyors.  With the event’s new charity partner, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, comes VIP preview tastings at select hotels and restaurants, as well as a larger focus on education by offering more seminars, classes, and tastings.  There will also be an optional VIP room.  Sessions on scotch tasting, wine pairing, sake, and tequila will be given throughout the weekend for an additional fee.

LA WineFest will be held in the historic Raleigh Studios, one of Hollywood’s most glamorous and famous film studios.  This oldest working studio in the area is located on Melrose Avenue and has many lavish amenities that are sure to significantly increase the class of this wine festival.  With an attendance last year of over 5,500, the LA WineFest is expected to draw even more crowds this year, so make sure to buy your tickets early!  As with many wine events, there is a Designated Driver ticket available for purchase so nobody has to worry about finding a safe ride home.
